This is going to be a long post so be prepared!! We start out with getting ready for the day. We all got matching T-shirts from Wal-Mart and I did Kennadee's Hair all cute doesn't she look great?
Well she had woken up a little shaky that morning and I was a little worried but didn't think much of it and off we went. We stopped to get some lunch and then were on our way again. While we were driving Kennadee was saying that she was thirsty so I gave her some water. She only took one sip so I encouraged her to drink more. She refused and I looked back and she was suddenly very pale. She said " Mom I need to puke in the potty" I said " Are you going to puke"? She said "no" and as she said that she puked all over herself. I didn't have any clean clothes for her in the car. (Despite twice thinking I should bring some and telling myself why should I? she never really gets herself messy anymore). Luckily we were by a T.J. Max so I ran in and bought her a new outfit. (because it was only 1.00 more for the outfit than it would have been for their cheapest T-shirt) When I came back out of the store she was doing much better so I put the new shirt on her and we went on our way.
We went to downtown Austin to see what was going on down there. We had a reservation for a boat tour to watch the fireworks but that didn't start until 8:00 so we had plenty of time to kill. We found this park nearby so we went to check it out. Downtown Austin really cool they have a lot of really interesting buildings.
The weather wasn't too bad so we walked around for awhile.
Once we were all too hot we decided to go to Wal-Mart to cool off. While we were there I got Kennadee another shirt so she would match us and then it was time to go to the boat. We boarded early so we could get good seats. Kennadee was so good. She was walking around talking to everyone. She made friends really fast. Their was a couple up at the front that had a big bag of kettle corn and they were sharing with her. She totally loved it.

Also while we were waiting we saw a little turtle trying to climb up onto the dock and we saw some ducks that after awhile started quacking at us and splashing us.
This is what the boat we were on looked like:
Under the bridge lives about a million bats that come out at dusk so we got to see them all swarming out while we were on the water
And then once it got dark enough the fireworks started. It was really cool!! I loved the way the fireworks reflected off the water. I totally recommend this to everyone!! This was an awesome experience and the best 4th of July I've had in a long time!! The symphony was playing in the park on the shore so we could hear the music while we watched the fireworks. It was awesome. I got the finale on video so enjoy!!
I hope you all had an awesome 4th of July!!
