Wal-Mart Santa

Well Kennadee has been dying to see Santa this year. We walked by him at the mall but it was $15.00 to see him so we said no. When we were at the Jerome Wal-Mart yesterday they had a Santa in the Garden Department so she got to sit on his lap and she got a candy cane that she made a huge mess of herself with. She loved every minute of it!!!

How long have you been together? We have been friends for 4 years this month.

How long did you date? We were friends for a year before we finally decided to date. We dated for 2 months, were engaged for 3 months.

How old is he? 27

Who eats more? Him

Who said "I love you" first? He did it was so cute we were watching a movie and he very quietly said " I love you baby" I turned and said "What did you say?" He didn't want to repeat it again (I think he was scared!!) When I finally got him to say it again (5 or so minutes later) I told him I loved him too!!

Who is taller? He is by a foot!

Who sings better? I do.

Who is smarter? He is most definitely the smarter one!

Whose temper is worse? I think that one is pretty close to a tie. We are both very stubborn!!

Who does the laundry? I do

Who does the dishes? I do, He usually helps when he can!!

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? I usually do but we switch sometimes.

Who pays the bills? I do.

Who mows the lawn? He does. I am not allowed to touch the lawn. It is his thing!!

Who cooks dinner? I do most of the time but we go out to eat a lot too.

Who drives when you are together? We take turns

Who is more stubborn? Both of us as I said in the temper question

Who is the first to admit when they are wrong? I can't remember the last time that either of us admitted we were wrong.

Whose parents do you see the most? His because they are only 15 minutes away mine are 7 hours away.

Who kissed who first? He kissed me while we were watching Pirates of the Caribbean.

Who asked who out? He asked me.

Who proposed? He did.

Who is more sensitive? I think we are both sensitive in different ways.

Who has more friends? I do. But we also have a lot of couple friends.

Who wears the pants in the family? I do no doubt about it!! You can ask him!!!

Mannheim Steamroller

We went to the Mannheim Steamroller concert with my parents the week of Thanksgiving. It was awesome!!! We thoroughly enjoyed it!!! We wanted to take Kennadee with us but they said they would charge us $30.00 just to have her sit on our laps!! We thought it was outrageous!! So we just went as couples. We hope you all have a Merry Christmas. We are in the process of trying to get packed up because we are moving to Twin Falls the weekend after Christmas so I don't know if I will have much time to post between now and then!!!

A Bittersweet Farewell

I am sad to say that my sister Diana and her family are moving to Texas. I just went to Utah to help them pack. It was really really hard to say goodbye. We are so happy for them and the new adventure they are about to embark on. We wish them luck and our prayers go with them!!! We will miss them lots and hope to see them again soon!!!

Another funny

While we were helping set up for the ward Halloween party last night Kennadee was running around playing and I didn't notice that she had gone out into the hall. A few minutes later the Mission President came in and said that Kennadee had poked her head into the Men's bathroom and asked him what he was doing while he was going to the bathroom!!!! It was so embarrasing yet so funny!!!

Out of the mouths of babes

Last night was our ward Halloween party. Russell wore these horns and I wore a halo. So we were a devil and an angel. A little boy about 6 or 7 years old came up to Russell and asked what he was supposed to be. I told him that he was the devil. He looked up at Russell and said " Yeah you look like the kind of person that would be the devil" It was so hillarious.

Punkin' Carvin'

Today we finally got around to carving our pumpkins. We had so much fun!! Kennadee wasn't too into it though. As you can see in the pictures.

Twin Falls Here We Come!!!!

Yea!!!! Russell finally got his confirmation that he will be doing his student teaching in Twin Falls!!! We are so excited!! We will probably be moving the first week of January and he will be finishing in May!!! Hooray!!!

Funny!!

Yesterday Russell took Kennadee with him to Wal-Mart to buy groceries. While Russell was loading the stuff to be checked out Kennadee decided she wanted a banana. When Russell turned around she had taken huge bites out of two bananas with the peel still on yuck!!! It was funny!!

GO BRONCOS!!!

Last night we went to the Boise State Football game. We sat by the band it was really fun because they got us all hyped up!! The game went into quadruple overtime and we won 69 to 67. It was so awesome!!! We had a blast!! We went with Russell's brother Sam his wife Dee and their son Dakota and their friends Wendy & Carl and Russell's cousin P.J. It was great fun. Go Broncos!!! If anyone happened to record it on ESPN look for us and let us know if you see us!!!

Corn Maze

Saturday we went to the Corn Maze with Dad & Aileen. It was a nice crisp fall day. We had a lot of fun for the most part. Kennadee got a little sick of it after awhile and she just wanted to go home but we couldn't find our way out. She was much happier once we finally got out of the maze. After that they had a little petting zoo so she got to see some baby calfs and some baby goats. It was fun. And then we took a hayride which was really fun she enjoyed that so much she almost fell asleep. It was really fun to have Dad & Aileen with us. Dad really enjoys stuff on a farm since he grew up on a farm.

HI-HO HI-HO It's back to work I go!

Yep you guessed it I am now working for Domino's with Russell. Since our old car died and we had to get the new one and roll the old loan into it we decided that I should go back to work so we can pay it down a bit so we don't owe more than the new car is worth. It has been a bit of a struggle for me because it is really hard to leave my little girl but I am only working 3 days a week and Domino's is being very flexible with us so we can work opposite shifts so Kennadee can be home with her daddy while I am working. I think I am getting the hang of working there. I am learning the area pretty well so I am able to find most of my deliveries without looking at the map.

Our Little Cinderella

Kennadee absolutely loves Cinderella so I decided that she should be Cinderella for Halloween this year. I decided to make her costume myself. It was a little difficult and frustrating at times but I think it turned out pretty good!!
