CURLERS!!

Sunday I decided to put Kennadee's hair in curlers and see how well it worked. She looked like a little housewife in her curlers and dress it was so cute!!! She did really well to keep them in. Since her hair is so short and thin it dried quickly so she only had to have them in an hour or so. She wanted to wear them in her hair for church it was hilarious!

After we took the curlers out I styled her hair. It was really curly!! I tried to get a good picture but none of them turned out very well below is the best picture I could get of her hair after the curlers. It was really cute. And the curls stayed in until the next day so unlike her mommy her hair hold curl really well!!

Kennadee's Haircut

So Kennadee's hair has been so out of control lately so Sunday morning I decided to chop it off in hopes that it will grow in thicker and more evenly!! She has 3 major cowlicks on the back of her head so it was a little difficult to make it look even but I think it works. At first she hated the haircut and didn't want to go to church because of it but once we got to church and everyone was noticing and telling her how good it looked she started liking it more and more and eventually was asking everyone she saw if they liked her haircut!! It was great!!

This is from the movie Enchanted. It is Kennadee's favorite new movie and she watches is at least once a day. It gets on my nerves a bit but this is my favorite part of the movie!!

March

Okay it's catch up time. As you know we are getting ready to move so life has been pretty hectic but here are a few fun things we were able to do in March.
We went to the park with Kennadee's cousins Kaylee, Kyler, & Gage. We had a picnic and they were able to play on the playground and fly kites. It was a blast. Kennadee loves to play with them!!

Shoshone Falls:

We went to Shoshone Falls with Dustin & Crystal mid March. It was really fun. We walked down and looked at the Falls and then we went on a hike up the canyon. Crystal was pushing Kennadee in the stroller because lets face it I am in horrible shape not to mention I have exercised induced asthma and no inhaler. Kennadee had wanted me to push her and I told her that I wasn't in shape and that I needed to get my butt in shape so that I could push her. So when we started coming back down the canyon I was pushing Kennadee and I had gone down the hill really fast and then slowed down so we didn't topple over. Kennadee asked me to go faster and I told her I couldn't and she said " Oh, is it because all the shape went out of your butt?" I laughed so hard. Don't you love the little things kids say? Anyway here are the pics!

Nannies & Grandpa's House:

The last weekend in March we went to Ely to see my parents because it was my Dad Pete's Birthday. It was really fun. Jessica and Cole and their little boy Law came down and Pete's parents were there so we were able to spend time with lots of family!! We celebrated Dad's birthday the first night we got there and on Saturday the ladies went to my mom's ward Relief Society birthday lunch!! It was really neat they had an awesome presentation about Christ and then we had some yummy chick food (chicken salad croissants, salad, veggies, etc.)  My Mom got a new game called Ticket to Ride(which is majorly addicting by the way) so we all played that and Russell and Cole played their traditional game of Monopoly and they played football and hung out it was a blast!! and then Sunday we went home in a snow storm!! But we all had a blast!!
