Kennadee's Hand Washing Opera

So sometimes I wish that I had a built in camera in my head that I can push record when Kennadee does something cute. Today I was using the bathroom and Kennadee said "Now when you are done you turn on the water and washa washa washa hands and then you get the soap and you washa washa washa hands". I asked her to do it again so I could get on film so she did but it isn't as cute as it was the first time!!

P.S. Please excuse the messy bathroom counter LOL

Hutto High School Football

Last night was the first Varsity home game for Hutto High School. A couple of Russell's students are on the team and they asked him to be there. One of them even had him wear his jersey during the day at school (which I guess is a pretty big deal around here). It was really funny because the boys jersey number was the same number Russell had when he was in school!!

Kennadee has always enjoyed going to football games with her daddy and last night was no different. She clapped and cheered and visited with all the people sitting around us. She even mooched some M&M's from one lady (she is really good at mooching!!)
This is the Hutto High School mascot the Hippo. As I have said before the mascot for the whole town is the hippo and you see hippo statues all over the place

Kennadee thought the hippo was great!! She kept watching for it and every time it came close she would say "Look there's the hippo!!!" Everyone around us thought she was so cute!!
It was a pretty fun night. I got to meet a couple of Russell's students it was cool and weird at the same time to hear them call him Mr. Eldredge. We had to leave early because I was getting a migraine but when we left the score was 22 to 3. They ended up winning 45 to 3!! Go Hippos!!

August Update

                            __________________________________________

Mid August Russell got called to be the second counselor in the Young Men's Presidency. He is really excited about that and has been enjoying it quite a bit. And then the following week I got called to be the second counselor in the Relief Society Presidency (AHHHH!!!) So far it has been crazy and overwhelming. But I know it is what I am supposed to do and I will have the support I need.

Toward the end of the month Kennadee finally completed her potty training. She had  regressed when we moved and it has taken awhile to get her back on track. So she got to go to Gatti-land for her reward. It is like Chuck E. Cheese's but it has way better food and lots of fun games and rides. Kennadee had a blast!!

Russell started teaching this week and has really been enjoying it. He has the Spanish I and Spanish II classes. It is really nice to see him actually be excited to go to work and it has been even better that he comes home happy!! I am so glad that he is finally doing something he enjoys and I hope he continues to love it!!  So that's all for August hopefully September will be great!!
