I know we have all had the experience where we lift up a pile of clothes or towels and a spider comes running out and scares the crap out of us right? Well yesterday I was getting ready to get in the shower and noticed Kennadee's towel was on the floor so I picked it up and out ran a little LIZARD!!!! EEK!! I screamed and it ran after me!! So I ran to the kitchen and grabbed a glass and came back in and put the glass over it so it couldn't run away. Then I hurried and threw some clothes on and grabbed a piece of paper and slid it under the cup. ( I accidently cut off the end of it's tail- oops) I then ran it outside and threw it in the bushes. I debated on taking a picture but I just wanted to get it out of my house!! It was a cute little lizard but it is not okay for it to be in my house!! Here is a picture of what it looked like. Only it was a baby so it was really tiny:

I probably would have had a heart attack. I hate lizards and snakes. I picked up a towel off the floor the other day and out ran a couple of earwigs. gah, they are so gross!
Yeah, I would have freaked out too. But, I think I would much rather discover a little lizard than a spider.
I would have reacted similarly, except my next reaction would have been to go and get all the kids to check it out. Geez, I am such a home school geek mom!

I would prefer a lizard to a spider as well, but I probably would have tried to pick it up and hold it! I know, I'm crazy!
I am sorry but that is kind of funny. It is all I can do to hold back a chuckle when Marissa sees something and shrieks. Then I have to go take care of it. Although we have never had a lizard in the house, we have had plenty of spiders and crickets.
