Baby Nathanael

Thursday of last week was Russell's 28th Birthday!! Happy Birthday honey!! We spent the day at Diana's while she was in labor. So he got to have his cake there. It was so much fun!
Then at 7:00p.m. he got the best present an Uncle could have: A baby nephew named Nathanael Jared Mildenstein. 8lbs. 9oz. 19 in. long!!

This is Kennadee holding him at the hospital the day after he was born! She loves him so much and talks about holding him all the time!

Welcome to the world Nathanael!! We love you so much!!

Yearbook Yourself

So I found this on one of my favorite blogs and I had to try it. You go to yearbookyourself.com and upload a photo of yourself looking straight forward and then it puts your face in the picture and you can adjust it so it looks right. Try it it's so fun!! This is me through the ages. In several of them I look like a lot of my relatives see if you can tell me which ones!

Our Little Cheerleader

Last Friday night we went to another HHS Football game. It was against a huge school and it was aired on ESPN!! Anyway it was really crowded (stinkin' people wantin' to be on TV) and Kennadee was having a hard time because since it was so crowded she couldn't see the mascot (a gray hippo with huge red lips) and  the cheerleaders which are her two favorite things to see at a football game.

Kennadee looking at the hippo
Hooray!!

I love this!!
Look Mom I'm a cheerleader

P.S. right when I turned of the camera this young boy was running by and didn't see her and totally plowed her down! It was awful she was crying and so upset!

The Great Costume Debacle

Well it is the 2nd of October so naturally it is time to get out the Halloween costume box and see what treasures we can find. I originally was going to make Kennadee a Belle costume but we are really short on funds this month so I decided to just see what I could come up with.

First we have the Lamb costume:

It's a cute costume but the hood kept slipping down over her eye and it scrunched up her face funny. Plus in this Texas heat (90 degrees here still) I didn't think this was the best choice!!

Next we have Raggedy Anne:
Another very cute option I actually really liked this one on her especially the striped socks! But I'm just the mom and my opinion doesn't matter so here is what Kennadee chose for her costume this year:

Birthday Party

Kennadee went to her friend Madi's birthday party last week. It was so cute. It was a care bear party. Madi's mom had made a rainbow on the wall and had made clusters of white balloons and hung them from the ceiling so they looked like clouds!! It was so cute!!

She also had some really fun games. They played Care Care Bear (duck duck goose), Musical clouds (musical chairs), Pin the belly on the care bear, they go to color wind socks, and she painted their faces. It was so fun. Kennadee had a blast.

And then she made a really cute Care Bear cake and they had ice cream and Kool-Aid. And then at the end they got a goodie bag and they got to pick three prizes. It was so much fun!
