4th of July

The 4the of July was such a fun day this year! It was the first time in the 4 years we've lived here that we actually got to spend it with Diana and her family. One or both of us has always been out of town before. 

We started out by visiting and hanging out and preparing the food. Russell made some delicious smoked pulled pork! It was so tasty! The kids played on the water slide and with their water guns. Then we ate and visited some more. And then we had delicious Root Beer floats! When it got closer to dark we headed over to Wal-Mart to get some last minute treats for watching fire works and then we met up with friends at the park to watch the fireworks. I usually take pictures of the fireworks but this year I decided to just enjoy the fireworks! We had great seats and were just a few hundred yards away from where they were lighting them off! It was one of the best 4th of July Celebrations ever!
