Last Day of School

I can't believe the school year past so quickly! Kennadee grew leaps and bounds over the school year. She really polished up on her reading and math skills and did a great job with her daily classroom behavior. She made some really good friends and really enjoyed her awesome teacher Mrs. Stewart. I am so proud of all her accomplishments! The last day of school they had a board game day and tons and tons of treats. She had fun playing different games with different friends.

Daddy Daughter Dance

In February Kennadee's school put on a Daddy Daughter Dance for the students and their fathers. It was so cute! Kennadee got all dressed up and so did Russell. It was so cute! Russell said they really didn't do much dancing. He said that the Dad's sat around talking and the little girls played with the balloons that were on the floor! When she got home Russell gave her a Valentine's Teddy Bear that she had wanted at Wal-Mart. She loved it!

Easter 2012

In our family we celebrate the Easter Bunny the Saturday before Easter and save the religious part of Easter for Sunday.
So the Easter Bunny came and Kennadee was so excited! That excitement faded quickly when the Easter Bunny for got to leave an Easter Egg Hunt for her! Luckily the neighbors had been really loud the night before so we told her that they had scared him away! (I hadn't thought that the tradition had meant that much to her so I just didn't do it! I felt horrible!)
I immediately called Diana to see if they wanted to come over and do an Easter Egg Hunt with us and then color Easter Eggs. They came over and we had a blast!

Russell and I's Valentine's Dinner. My sister and I got a really good deal on Lobster tails but it turns out I don't know how to cook them very well because they didn't turn out great. But the steaks were good!
I did a balloon attack for Russell each balloon had something on it that I love about him.

My Birthday

The day of my Birthday was the day we took Russell to the airport so he could make it back in time to get back to work. After we dropped him off we went to my Aunt & Uncle's house and my Uncle convinced my Mom to buy me a birthday cake! It was so good! I love store bought cakes with Raspberry filling! MMMMM!!!!
After we ate cake and visited there we headed out to my Grandma Mote & Aunt Michele's They decked out their house and had cake and birthday hats waiting for us! It was so cute. We visited with them for a bit and then we went and met with some of my friends at Leatherby's.

New Year's Eve

New Year's Eve Jessica and Cole came over to Mom's to play games and do our traditional New Year's Eve stuff. The evening started with haircuts/colors from John. Then we played games. Then we all dared Pete to shave his mustache. It ended up being a bribe and we ended up paying him like 50 dollars to do it! It was so funny! I don't even remember the last time I had seen him without a mustache! He still has it off now!
