The Family

We have not been together as a whole family for who knows how long and there has not been a gathering of more than two of us kids with the parents for a long time so this picture is monumental since we have 4 out of 5 of us siblings plus grandpa! Missed you Diana!

Yes I'm the shortest in the family by a long shot!

Bowling The Day After Christmas

The day after Christmas Jessica, and the kiddos came down and we all went bowling. It was so fun! It was a super old school bowling lane! We had to keep track of our own scores on a scorecard.

Kennadee all ready to go with her new nail polish, headband, and her hair crimped with the 3-barrel iron. So cute!

Christmas Vacation Part IX: Christmas Day

After church we came back home and got back in our Christmas jammies and opened presents:

So excited for her leap pad!

 Cute apron from Nannies
 Necklace from Russell

Russell got the TV in the background for my parents for Christmas

Christmas Vacation Part VII: Christmas Morning

Okay so I am way behind on blogging and I realized I hadn't finished my Christmas posts.  Here are some pics from Christmas morning. Since Christmas was on Sunday we just did stockings before church and then presents after church. This year in Kennadee's stocking she got Candy, Jewelry, Hair things, an Etch-a-Scetch, Nail Polish, and fruit. She is getting too grown up!

I love her face with the orange it's much different than when she was 3 (see pic below)

I love this family picture!

Infertility Update

Well I haven't updated the blog so I thought I would let you all know that the IUI didn't work. I really thought that if it didn't work I would be devastated and it would be the end of the world. The day we found out we were pretty upset. I cried for a little bit and we went and drowned our sorrows with chocolate but the weird thing was that after I cried I felt better. I have never felt that way. Over the next few days I finally began to feel at peace with the fact that I may never have another baby. I really and truly do feel like I'm okay and I can move on. I have never felt this way through this whole trial. I did end up going back into the Dr. office just for a follow-up and to see what he thought our next steps would be. He said that since I have only the one open tube that he would recommend doing IVF since it is 60% accurate and IUI is only 20% I told him there would be no way we could afford the 15,000 to do that and he said that I should take a break and that he wouldn't be surprised if I became pregnant within the next few months. (Even though I don't think that will really happen) He said that if I am not pregnant by the beginning of 2013 we should come back in and discuss IVF. But like I said I am really okay with not having another baby so if it is meant to be I will get pregnant on my own but I am not counting on it. Thanks so much for all your thoughts and prayers for us over the last 7 years I couldn't have gotten through this trial without that!
